Lotus -A Luxury Lobby in Blagoevgrad that is part of a larger residential development, designed to complement the building’s premium apartments. We developed the project for a real estate client rather than a single owner. The goal was to create a strong first impression for prospective buyers and visitors.
The client aimed to establish a clear visual and spatial connection between the exterior architecture and the interior experience. This meant creating a lobby that naturally extends the building’s exterior design language. This approach will create a smooth transition between the outdoor environment and the inner spaces.
While the apartment interiors evoke elegance, the lobby had to express that same sophistication in a more accessible and functional way serving, as the building’s introduction. It had to be both practical and expressive, setting the tone for what lies beyond.
We based the lobby concept on the curved architectural lines of the building’s exterior. Our goal was to reinterpret these flowing shapes within the interior. In this way, we create continuity through form and atmosphere.
We focused on achieving balance. Our idea was to highlight the walls and ceilings through soft curved elements. To establish contrast and depth, we decided to combine these surfaces with dark walnut. We wanted the space to feel natural and guide movement intuitively while adding a sense of sculptural refinement.
The lobby needed to feel visually impressive while remaining simple to execute. Since residents and guests use the space daily, we focused on durability, comfort, and clarity of movement.
We created the Luxury Lobby in Blagoevgrad to capture a refined, minimal atmosphere through clean geometry, warm materials, and soft transitions. The curved ceiling defines the space and echoes the building’s architectural language. It also introduces a subtle sense of movement.
The wall designated for the building’s logo became a focal point. Framed by dark walnut paneling and brass details, it creates a welcoming gesture for all who enter.
Glossy marble tiles reflect light and visually expand the space. In contrast, matte walnut paneling grounds the composition and adds warmth. Subtle brass details and minimal abstract artwork introduce refinement without distraction.
The interplay of textures, from smooth plastered walls to polished surfaces, gives the lobby its distinct character. The result is a welcoming space that feels both sophisticated and approachable. It aligns seamlessly with the building’s modern identity and its promise of elegant living.
