Lenea is an interior design atelier founded by Elena Tabakova, based in Sofia, Bulgaria. Her goal is to transform each interior into a space with character and artistic value. A strong interest in creating environments with emotional impact is what led her to establish her own practice.

Elena graduated from the National Academy of Arts with a degree in Design for Children’s Environments, where she focused on product design for children’s furniture and toys. Over time, her interest naturally shifted toward interior design, leading her to complete a master’s degree in Interior Design for Children’s Spaces. Her graduation project explored the interior design of a primary school, reflecting her early interest in creating inspiring and thoughtfully designed environments.

With over six years of professional experience, Elena has worked on residential, commercial, and public projects. She developed her skills in two interior design studios, where she focused on interior concepts and custom furniture design. This experience helped her gain a strong understanding of how to turn ideas into practical, well-executed design solutions. Today, through Lenea, Elena brings together her education, experience, and creativity to offer clients a personal and well-considered design process.
